Warren Whitmire is a retired intelligence analyst with experience in some of the world's deadliest places. He now writes thrillers and short stories, some of which center on Christian themes and some of which are purely secular.

The first novel in the Hank McCaskill thriller trilogy, "Only the Dead," is a slow-burn mystery punctuated with heart-pounding action. William H. ("Bill") Brown has done it all: repo man, college professor, ordained minister, accountant, business consultant, cat breeder, and now author. His novels showcase an understanding of Alabama history and the importance of individual honor.
